Pipeline

The pipeline that transports the water supply to central and eastern North Dakota will be made of coated steel.  The diameter or size of the pipe will be determined by the end user needs.  Currently, the project calls for 72” pipe if there is a need to deliver 150  cubic feet per second (cfs) or 78” pipe if there is a need to deliver as much as 180 cfs of water.  Other infrastructure and appurtenances along the pipeline such as pumps, valves, pump stations and more will be determined during final design to ensure a safe, effective, and efficient means of delivering water to central and eastern North Dakota.
