Construction Updates

Our current construction updates include the Missouri River Intake Investigation, the Horizontal Collector/Intake Conceptual Design, Water Treatment Plant Option Evaluation, Hydraulics and Structures Conceptual Design and Pipeline Horizontal Alignment. Our goal is to complete the Implementation Plan, Discharge System Conceptual Design, Initial Financial Meeting, Preliminary User Commitments, Missouri River Intake Permit Level Design, and the Pipeline 20% Design (Draft Horizontal Alignment), including the Discharge Structure Preliminary Design, by the end of 2017.

The total cost incurred at the end of 2016 was $7.5 million dollars. The current construction projects that are in progress or planned for the remainder of 2017 will cost $6.5 million dollars. The total costs for 2015-2017 for the Red River Valley Water Supply Project (RRVWSP) will be $14 million dollars.
